At Hudayya we cater to all type of brides and their garment requests. Whether you are looking for a traditional garment made from saki or aso oke fabric or you are looking for a cute dress to wear at your registry or looking for the princess dress of your dreams, you are at the right place.
We do not stock ready to wear bridal dresses as our focus is specifically on bespoke garment creation. Every Hudayya bride is unique, and we craft a unique garment to suit her style and personality.
It is possible for a bride to request a previous design that may have been seen on another bride, however we do our best to work with this request while still designing something unique for you.
Fabric is generally accepted and can be brought to bridal consultations. We do advise that fabric is not purchased before the consultation as we can only determine the quantity required after consultations as this is based on the sketched design as well as body measurements. This is to ensure that we can craft your outfit without any restraints.
For white wedding dresses, fabric is not accepted and will be sourced by us.
If you live in a different country, you can opt for us to source fabric for you.
Bridal consultations can last anywhere between 30 minutes to 60 minutes and are handled by the creative director. During the consultation we try to get to know you a little bit and what the upcoming wedding plans are looking like. Following this you can give us an idea of the style of dresses you like and we will then sketch a unique design for you. Your measurements will also be taken at the end of the consultation.
For foreign brides, consultations are done via WhatsApp call or chat. You will be required to take your measurements yourself or with the help of someone.
Typically it takes 6-8 weeks for garments to be ready, as such we advise that brides book their bridal consultations a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 4 months before the wedding date.
If you are a foreign bride, you will need to factor in shipping times as well.
It is advisable to come with a maximum of 2 extra guests for your bridal consultation as well as your fitting.
Yes, we organise consultations for brides living in other countries. Typically, this will be done via WhatsApp chat, Zoom conference meeting or call.
Unfortunately, we do not accept walk ins. Consultations must be pre-booked, to ensure availability of all team members that need to be present during the consultation.
No, you do not need to bring anything for your bridal consultation. For fittings it is advised to bring the shoes you will be wearing on the day so any length adjustments can be done if necessary.
Our prices start at $1,500 and average at about $3,000.
